First day: 8:30am, pick up at hotel I arrange elephant riding at Nam kham river (elephant sanctuary camp). with very good experience with elephant riding and feeding. after continue to Tadsae waterfall, summer not much water but we have great time with local grill baby fish and good lunch at waterfall, and keep driving back to Luang prabang city stepping up Phousi hill for sightseeing around luang prabang.
Second day: 5:30am, pick up matte at sunway hotel transfer to experience of alms giving ceremony, return to hotel breakfast. 8:30am, getting down to Mekong river with slow boat up to Ban xang hay local distiller lao whisky and weaving silk product. continue trip to pak ou cave after we have great food at boat restaurant Lao main disc. late afternoon keep cruising down to Ban xang khong famous handicraft weaving, making paper.
Third day: after hotel breakfast pick up visiting local market, with super experience local product fresh and green vegetable. keep driving to kuangsi waterfall, we have great time swimming, trek up peak of waterfall to see water source with local guide on boat 15 minute to source with fresh clean water.
Mekong Riverview Hotel, hotel location is perfect, very close to the night market. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The staff are helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Luang Prabang

This hotel was perfect in every way: location (right in the centre of town), service (all the staff were extremely helpful) and price (much cheaper than some other options). The rooms were spacious and clean with a lovely balcony overlooking the street below. My only complaint was that there wasn’t much food on offer for breakfast except for bread rolls and coffee/tea so if you’re looking for something more substantial then don’t expect much from this hotel’s breakfast offerings
