Keep continue driving to Houa phan.
Arrival Sam nuen check in hotel self explore around city, walking to houaphan park, and local market, next morning driver pick up 2 hours to viengxai visiting pathetlao residence place.

Travel from phonsavan to houaphanh 254km take more than 7 hours driver, including sightseeing on the way visit village, wtaerfall, stone garden.
There morning bus and share minivan daily departure from northern bus station at Ban ngoi village 4 km from city center, you can choose to deaprture monrning and night it’s take omore than 7-8 hours road small and curve driver must experience much about this road, travel rain season difficult some landslide.

No direct flight and train from phonsavan to houapanh, there daily flight from Vientiane to houaphan, bad weather flight will be cancel and change schedule, Skyway airline flight with small plan.
There many guesthouse you can book online or calling to book before you arrival there, most of hotel located in city center you can reach market, restaurant by foot.
There no travel agent there can arrange tour to visit Viengxai cave, if you interesting to visit cave and local village you can book with hotel but cost higher than you expectation.
