This is a full day tour that covers the highlights of Chiang Mai. We begin with a visit to the famous Wat Phra Singh temple and its golden Buddha statue, then we head to the nearby Wat Chedi Luang temple complex and its impressively large chedi (stupa). Booked a tour through Viator with Mr Po was our tour guide. spend a couple of days in Chaing Ria rather than travel to / from Chaing Mia. It makes for a long day and the road is under construction so it is rough and slow going. Aside from that, it was an excellant tour. The guide spoke very good english, very understandable.
The trip started at 8 am with pickup at our hotel in Chiang Mai. We were picked up on time and taken to meet Mr Jim who took us on another vehicle to pick up other people who had booked through different companies. There were no issues getting everyone together and off we went!
