Day: 1/Huayxai to Pakbeng

8:30 am, Meeting guide at Huayxai Laos-Thai border transfer to slow boat station ready departure to Pakbeng.

Day: 2/ Pakbeng 6 hours slow boat to luangprabang

pick up transfer to hotel, after evening walking tour up to phousi hill where you can view 360 degree surround Luangprabang, down to Luangprabang night market.

Day : 3/ Luangprabang full day tour

Wake up 5:30 am, visit monk alms given food by local people, return to hotel breakfast after visit Watxieng thong golden temple, Royal palace museum, getting slow boat 2 hours up mekong stream to Pak ou cave on the way down mekong visit Ban xang hai whisky making village and weaving handicraft products

Day: 4/ Luangprabang full day tour

After breakfast ready to visit elephant sanctuary camp you can feeding, riding, bathing and visit baby elephant crossing namkham, after keep going to Kuangsi waterfall and Hmong village on the way back to town.

Day: 5/ Luangprabang to Plain of Jars.

Leaving Luang prabang 8:30 am, it’s take 7 hours on mountain and curve road. arrival at PHonsavan visit Plain of jars quarry site take hours step up 900 step to peak of Phoukeng go thought viet khon tunnel (1964-1973 Laos secret war used this mountain army base area) check in hotel.

Day: 6/ Plain of Jars full day tour

After breakfast 8:30 AM. driving 50 minute to Ban Naphia (Spoon village), plain of jars 3.
is over 150 jars sits on a scenic hillside in pretty woodland near Ban Lat Khai village. Plain of Jar Site 2, Over 250 jars, located on tow hill of Ban na kho. short walk to top of hill and surround by village and grass land and beautiful of pine tree. Russian tank, whisky village.before dinner visit MAG (mine advisory group) visit center.

Day: 7/ Phonsavan to Vangvieng

6 hours driving to Vangvieng, on the way stop lunch at phoufiengfa best view for sightseeing arrival vangvieng, visit Tham nam (water cave) evening enjoin local small boat along Namsong river for sunset.

Day: 8/ Vangvieng to Vientiane

Morning visit blue lagoon, Tham cham cave on the way visit local fish market arrival vientiane.

Day: 9/ Vientiane full day tour

Morning visit Buddha part (Wat xiengkhouam), thatluang stupa is Laos symbol, Patuxai is monument victory gate in the centre of Vientiane, Watsisaket is not only famous for the interior walls of the cloister and beautiful architecture and layout with history.

Day: 10/ Transfer to Airport

I spent a fascinating and hugely enjoyable day with Eric touring the Plain of Jars sites 1,2 and 3 and the surrounding area. We were a family with 2 teenagers that had 2 days to see Vientiane and Vang Vieng. Eric made a perfect tour for us, nice hotel, good service. We did not feel rushed at all, we saw the important thing in Vientiane and than after the long bus drive from Luang Prabang he also took care of us. Refreshments on the road and arrived safe in Vang vieng. It was very hot and he offer a stop by a cave for swimming where we can take a cold shower of course included in the price. We spend a day wishing in Baan Xieng on the river kayaking with them (another company). (more…)

My friend and I took a 6 day road trip and used Eric’s car services. It was fantastic I communicated with Eric via WhatsApp pretty much each day with any changes and he replied each time straight away, which made our trip so easy. We just wanted a driver (no guide) which he arranged. Our driver was great, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. His English was ok and we managed. I would definitely use Eric and his company again.

This was a really great tour – definitely exceeded my expectations! We booked a group tour but wound up getting a private tour. Our driver took us an hour into the mountains on a dirt road to a Hmong village. Then we hiked through the countryside, had lunch with our guide (who was really great – we learned a lot!) and spent the afternoon at the waterfall before getting a ride back to our hotel. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys trekking and wants to see more of the Laotian countryside without going too far from Luang Prabang.
